Mind, Matter, and Meaning: An Open Journal
Papers and debate on consciousness, meaning, cognition, and artificial minds.
The journal brings arguments into conversation. Each paper has a place for questions and objections, with substantial responses and author replies published alongside it. Readers can follow an exchange from the original claim through its criticism and revision.
We welcome work that challenges the views defended in Mind, Matter, and Meaning. Selection turns on the quality of the argument, its clarity, and its relevance. Publication does not imply editorial agreement.

Epistemic Horizons: A Computational Theory of Consciousness, Perspective, and Knowability
Jason K. Resch · r144 · Discussion paper (preprint)
Resch proposes that the character of experience consists in the complete organization of the distinctions a conscious process can possess and use. He develops the consequences for subjects, replacement, and the limits of knowledge, while treating his proposed minimum for consciousness as a separable hypothesis.

Questions and shorter objections belong beneath the relevant paper. Longer arguments can become signed responses with their own pages, linked to the paper and any author reply. Identify the version and passage you address, state the objection, and explain what would answer it.
